Get rolling for Garfield County!

Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or just dusting off your bike for summer, BikeThere! Garfield County is your chance to ride, connect, and celebrate on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 — Colorado’s Bike to Work Day!

From 3–6 PM, visit your local Garfield County Library in Carbondale*, Glenwood Springs, New Castle, Silt, Rifle, and Parachute* for a community-powered celebration of biking wherever the day takes you. 

Enjoy:

🛠️ Bike tune-ups from local bike shops

🎨 Kids' activities like bike decorating and bike rodeos 

🎁 Prize giveaways including an e-bike, outdoor trips, and local gift cards

BikeThere! is more than just a ride — it’s a movement to encourage biking anywhere — to the library, bus stop, grocery store, a friend's house, or just for fun. So, why BikeThere? Everyone’s got a reason - what’s yours?

📍 Biking fits our region – Biking to work isn't always realistic here, but biking somewhere—like the library or park—can still make a real difference.

🛑 We all experience traffic – And we can all do something about it. Biking helps reduce congestion in our limited valley corridors.

* BikeThere! Carbondale will also have a morning station from 7:30 to 9:30 AM North of the Carbondale Park n’ Ride, on the Rio Grande Trail.
