Join us for a spectacular weekend of sport and scenery at the 21st annual Devereux Polo Cup, hosted by the Roaring Fork Polo Club at the beautiful Stout Ranch in New Castle—just a short drive from Glenwood Springs.

Free to attend, the Devereux Cup features an exhilarating polo match between Team Land Rover and Team Hotel Colorado, showcasing some of the most talented players in the region. Named in honor of Walter Devereux—Garfield County silver and gold prospector, inventor, and founder of Glenwood Hot Springs Resort, Hotel Colorado, and the Glenwood Polo and Racing Association—this storied event continues to celebrate local history and heritage.

In addition to the main event, guests will enjoy complimentary food and drinks, wine provided by Wild Mountain Cellars, and live music from Mark Shiiba of The Voice Season 26 and John Riger, a beloved mountain-region favorite.

While admission is free, donations are encouraged and will directly support the New Castle Historic Museum, helping preserve the area's rich past. As a thank-you, donors will receive a commemorative Devereux Cup poster.

This is your chance to experience world-class polo nestled at the confluence of the Roaring Fork and Colorado Rivers, surrounded by stunning mountain views. Carpooling is encouraged, and we recommend bringing cash for tips and donations. Water and restrooms will be available on-site, along with two large shade tents and bleacher seating for your comfort.

Pack your picnic blankets, lawn chairs, umbrellas, and best derby attire, and make a day of it with friends and family—we’ll see you at the ranch!

Weekend highlights also include visits to Glenwood Hot Springs and Iron Mountain Hot Springs on Saturday.
