Join us for a spectacular weekend of sport and scenery at the Devereux Polo Cup, hosted by the Roaring Fork Polo Club at the beautiful Stout Ranch in New Castle—just a short drive from Glenwood Springs.

Free to attend, the Devereux Cup features a thrilling polo match between Team Land Rover and Team Hotel Colorado, showcasing some of the region’s most talented players. Now in its 21st year, the event is named for Walter Devereux, an early Garfield County silver and gold prospector and inventor, and founder of the Glenwood Hot Springs Resort, the Hotel Colorado, and the Glenwood Polo and Racing Association.

In addition to the match, guests will enjoy complimentary food & drink and music by John Riger.

While admission is free, donations are encouraged and will directly support the New Castle Historic Museum, helping to preserve the rich history of the area. Donors will receive a commemorative Devereux Cup poster.

Don’t miss this unique chance to experience world-class polo nestled at the confluence of the Roaring Fork and Colorado Rivers with breathtaking vistas as the backdrop. . Carpooling is encouraged, and we recommend bringing cash for tips and donations. Water and restrooms will be available on-site, along with two large tents for shade and bleacher seating for your comfort. Kick off Devereux Cup weekend in style with the Meet the Players Reception at the iconic Hotel Colorado Outdoor Bar. Join us on Friday, June 13, at 5:00 PM for an evening of mingling, cocktails, and community as we welcome the talented athletes competing in this year’s Devereux Polo Cup. Weekend festivities also include trips to nearby Glenwood Hot Springs and Iron Mountain Hot Springs on Saturday.
