Wednesday, August 3, 2022 (6:00 PM - 7:00 PM) (MDT)
The shoulder is one of the largest and most complex joints of the body, providing a wide range of motion to the arm. This motion allows people to complete daily work and enjoy adventurous outdoor activities. However, this motion can also increase the risk for shoulder injuries, one of the most common being injuries to the rotator cuff. In this 20-minute discussion, followed by an open Q&A, Orthopedic Surgeon Ferdinand “Tito” Liotta, MD of ValleyOrtho will discuss common causes of rotator cuff injuries as well as both innovative and established ways to treat these injuries. Specializing in reconstruction of the shoulder, Dr. Liotta appreciates the complexity and challenges of the rotator cuff.
