Let’s Talk: Issues and Answers in Glenwood Springs

Community Invited to Attend Election Forum with Live Spanish Interpretation

The Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association, in partnership with CoWest Noticias Collaborative (CNC) partners (Aspen Daily News, Aspen Journalism, Aspen Public Radio, Aspen Times, Glenwood Springs Post Independent, KDNK, La Tricolor, Sol Del Valle and Sopris Sun) will host the 2025 Fall Issues and Answers Election Forum on Thursday, October 16, from 6–8 p.m. at Morgridge Commons, 815 Cooper Ave., 2nd Floor, Glenwood Springs.

The public is invited to attend the free, in-person event, which will feature co-moderators Peter Baumann, Publisher/Editor of the Glenwood Springs Post Independent, and Raleigh Burleigh, Editor-in-Chief of the Sopris Sun. Live Spanish interpretation will be available to ensure accessibility for all attendees. The forum will include candidates for Roaring Fork School District Board of Directors and information on local ballot measures 7A and 7C.

“We are honored to provide this longstanding educational opportunity for the community. There are very important measures on the ballot as well as candidates for the Roaring Fork School District Board. These impact our entire community and our future,” said Angie Anderson, President & CEO of the Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association.

While there will be no virtual option for live participation, a recording of the forum will be made available in both English and Spanish following the event.

No questions will be taken from the live audience at the forum, but community members are encouraged to submit questions in advance at glenwoodchamber.com/issues-answers by 5 p.m. Oct. 9. A media panel will review submissions to eliminate duplicates and ensure a broad range of topics.
